Does any one know what the various LED status are. My Super wifi (without Alexa) keeps flashing alternate white/red and then will go steady. It's done it about three times this morning.
How can you tell if a device is using the super wifi. I have my work laptop plugged into the LAN on the super wifi but it's not showing in the app. I also have my personal laptop & two mobiles within 40cms of the booster & they're not showing on the super wifi on the app. Can you force a device to use the booster?
Would the fact that the booster is sat on top of a Sky Q Mini box be causing any issues?
Any suggestions appreciated.

Normally the booster flashing red and white means the booster is having issues connecting to your router. I assume you are connecting your booster wirelessly.
The sky q box could certainly be a problem, the sky q service can act as its own wifi mesh, and when I had it I found its not very inteligent on what channel it uses. My mini used to always decide to work on a certain channel that was always very congested and gave poor signal (and ignored perfectly clear channels).
So basically you have put 2 wifi devices on top of each other and theres a very good chance they will be causing interfearance with each other.
Id certainly seperate these 2, and id look at disabling any alternate wifi network you have, make sure you only have one set of hardware running your wifi unless your willing to configure seperate the wifi channels of all the devices.

The Super Wi-Fi Booster works in sync with your Vodafone Router to create a 'Mesh Network' in your home and it's all done on placement and signal strength between your router, booster and your connected devices. The booster will mirror the name and settings of your router and devices will connect to the booster if it's lacking signal from your router. It'll connect to the booster like it's your router. It's essentially repeating the signal. So you don't need to connect to the booster like it's a separate network from your router as they work together to spread signal throughout your home.
Though saying that, within the Vodafone Broadband App you should see devices connected to the booster within the network map so not sure why that's not showing. When you set up the booster the app guides you through to the correct placement of the booster and if it's too close to your router you're defeating the object of it as it'll be giving the same signal strength to your devices as the router does as it's based on proximity. So if it's too close to your router, rethink the placement of it and move it further away from your router.
In terms of your Sky Q Mini Box - they are themselves repeaters/boosters like your Vodafone one and can repeat a broadband signal (at least it does if you're a Sky Broadband customer and I can't say if it repeats a signal from another provider, though common sense says that it should). So they could both be fighting to do the same job.
My advice is to rethink your home set up of your network. If your router is in one room at the access point / telephone line, have your Vodafone booster in a room opposite. If I'm right in saying your Sky Q Mini Box is repeating your signal, leave that in place and keep your booster away from it.

AFAIK, it depends on you having a Sky Q router, not just being a Sky customer, Without the Sky Q router the Sky mesh is just used to connect the mini boxes to the Sky Q box. They won't act as repeaters/ boosters for your Vodafone router.
At least that's how I believe it works, I'm always prepared to be proven wrong.

I cannot move either my Vodafone booster or my Sky Q Mini. They're both upstairs with no where else to go. As a work around I'm leaving my Sky Q Mini box off when I don't need it. not only does the save electricity it also reduces the amount of excess heat in my home/office, which during the summer months is needed!
