THG3000 - Extra Side USb Port - Anyone tried a second usb hard drive on it?

Just noticed on youtube that you can remove the side panel on the THG3000 router to reveal a shiny new USB3.0 Port - anyone tried to use it for other devices other than the modem/mobile plugin that is supposed to fit so you can have more than one hard drive or printer attached over the network before i give it a go?

I use it all the time for a USB memory stick, much neater than the rear port. I don't think it's USB3 though, just USB2

Yeah thanks just tried it and yes it works and its usb2.0.

Have to test see if both Usb Ports can work at the same time!

Answer :Yes both ports handle a hard drive each...Nice!!!
