I am new to vodafone BB.
I have had real issues with the THG3000 and trying to use wifi extenders which have worked well with other routers.
I have seen many threads on this but none with solutions that work for me.
I finally can get a my Wavlink WL-WN575A3extender working with the hub. Now for the but.....
I can only get it working in repeater mode when it is connected directly to the hub via a cable - this kind of limits the benefits of being wireless!
Whenever I disconnect the cable...no internet. If I try and connect via Wifi (extender to router) I get no internet and or it doesn't recognise the password.
Through trial and error (trying every combination) I think it is somehow related to how the router is trying to assign a password (unsuccessfully) to the extender.
Vodafone suggestions imply a level of technical expertise even below mine!
Has anyone come up with a foolproof fix yet?
Apparently the router is all upto date with no need to update software.
Cheers, in advance.

Doesn't take long to realise that does it!
Have you tried resetting the extender back to factory default first?

Have you tried with the WPS button, that should be the easiest method.

If you have a good router and a reliable internet connection, you don't need a range extender. I had used a range extender but that wasn't of much use.

It's never one size fits all. My own router is great and can get a signal albeit low-speed to the end of the cul-de-sac, but it can't punch its signal into the service cupboard where the heating valve controllers live!
