Transfer of ownership and making a new account

I recently moved from a rented property where I held the broadband account.  The person moving into my room went through the process of transferring the broadband account to her name.  I also started a new Vodafone broadband account for my new property.

It seems as though I'm still paying for both accounts and I wonder if it's even possible to separate them, or if the other person will just need to start a whole new account?

The person moving into your room wouldn't be able to arrange for the transfer of ownership, as the account holder you would have needed to complete this form Transfer of Ownership to authorise the change of ownership. The new contract owner would then have needed to accept the contract, if the credit check was successful the broadband contract would be in the new owners name.

If the transfer was not completed, you would still be paying for both contracts.  You need to check the transfer has completed.

Thanks for your help!  How would I check that?
