Ways to hack the THG3000? - need to have wifi network password with no numbers

Hi, I have a pile of devices that connect via wifi and I don't want to reenter the password on all of them (its a major pita).

My plan was, buy a new router, set the skid and pass to match the old network and voila...

But THG3000 has stupid password complexity requirement. I have a password with many bits of entropy that just happens to have no numerals.

Any ideas how I can overwrite this? Can I flash the firmware and put something sensible and open source on this? Does the CLI via ethernet let you set via command line without 'web' requirement ?

All ideas welcome:-)

Thanks, already doing that. Have a Netgear 4G hub with an ethernet connection to my old BT hub (Smart
Hub 1) and that has DHCP disabled so the devices on the network look for the other hub.

Really surprised it took 2 weeks for Vodafone activation. It's not like they actually do anything like rewiring or anything. Or do they?

Depends if you are on FTTC or FTTP.

With FTTC Openreach will usually need to visit the exchange and/or cabinet to make the connection.

I think you’re referring to ‘cabinet’ or ‘premises’ ? I our case it’s defo not premises (rural sitch) so Openreach it is…

If you don't have a cabinet and aren't on FTTP, you must be on ADSL. What speeds were you quoted on joining?
