Hi can someone please help i tried the tech phoneline and they didn't seem to understand what i wanted to do or it was too advanced
I have a cctv that i normally connect to on my phone, i had no issues with my previous 3 routers, i have just joined vodafone ,in expert mode, i setup the port number and saved it set to the local ip4 address of the cctv
if i connect on my phone via wfi (LAN) it works
however if i try from my phone via a mobile connection out of the building it will not connect, even port forwarding websites do not work connection is closed.
i then turned on exposed host function and waited 30 mins it has made no difference still can not connect. i'm totally baffled i must of missed something and don't know what to do now? any ideas? many thanks

Just to play Captain Obvious, I am assuming that you either have a Static IP or are using the router's DDNS ability to address the router from outside your LAN?

Thank you. I have a static IP address.

Thank you for explaining that. The lead I was referring to is the cable from the CCTV box to the router. I am on FTTC.
