I have just had gigafast broadband recently installed in my milton keynes home.  I been using the vodafone router with the TP link deco M5 controlling the wifi in AP mode which works well. I did want to continue using my Archer c7 router but because I want to keep the landline I am stuck with vodafone THG3000 router as it has a telephone ports on it.  My question is there any other router out there that has telephone ports on it?  the THG3000 is very basic and is very slow when making any changes on it,

Yes there are other routers with telephone ports on them. (more correct to say they have an ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) built in.

But you cant use them on Vodafone as they have not released the VoIP settings to do so. (as far as I know)

However there is no reason you shouldn't continue using the Deco's in AP mode.

Should be fine connecting a new router to the Vodafone one but disabling wifi on the original one and using the new one through an ethernet port i've heard if anyone can confirm?

I can't connect a new one directly to the ONT since I need VOIP capability (assuming leaving the phone line coming from the Vodafone router but with wifi disabled would work fine).
