why is Vodafone chat still telling customer that you can change wi-fi channel

Vishal: Now please search for this IP address in the browser, 192.168.1.1 It will ask for a password to login into that page. You will find the password on the back side of the router. There are two password given, one is for the wifi which we don't need here, Please use the other one given just below the 192.168.1.1. |

Vishal: Great, Now please go to the expert mode from the top right of the page |

Vishal: Now please click on wifi and then go to the seetings, you will be able to se two options 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz. |

Vishal: Please check below both of them, you should be able to see the option to change the channel. |
ME: that options got removed a few months ago |
Vishal: Okay , then we won't be able to get this changed. Please share your concern with the Broadband and then I will check that for you and help you get tat sorted |

I shall be updating the thread where I tried getting the options back soon.
It's been 2 weeks now and they are still there, despite my best attempts to get them to go. (personally its purely academic to me, I have no need to change the channel)
