wi-fi hub access denied

vodafone wi-fi hub THG3000 default password access works with Win XP, Win 7 but not Win 10. I've tried chrome, firefox & edge in Win 10 but on entering password nothing happens; no error codes, nothing. I've reset hub to factory defaults many times but problem remains. Any suggestions?

Are you referring to the router password or the Wi-Fi password?

There can't be many people still using Windows 7, and are you seriously still using XP?

As I suspect the majority of us are using Windows 10, and if it is the router password you are referring to, it's just the browser that is interacting with it, the problem must be with your Windows 10 installation, not the router.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm referring to the router password.  I tried a Win 7 laptop to see if the problem was with my Win 10 PC.  I use virtual XP on my Win 10 PC for old software that will not run on Win 10.  So Win 7 & XP allow router access but Win 10 doesn't, no matter which browser I use.  I think it must be a Win 10 issue even though Win 10 is running perfectly, apart from this router issue.

Thanks for explaining the XP statement, makes sense now.

The only thing I can think of is that the router access is unsecured, do you have anything that may be blocking that?

If you change the default password from one of the other devices, can you access it then?

Isn't the router web interface HTTP so perhaps W10 is being stroppy about HTTPS. If so, then it could be a browser setting to fix it.

Possible, I'll look into it
