Title says it all, can someone please explain how I can just top-up a new SIM with £10 and stay on PAYG1 without a bundle. I researched this and thought I'd done everything correctly, but clearly Vodafone make it as difficult as possible for obvious reasons. This is what I did:
1) Inserted new Vodafone SIM
2) Created MyVodafone account
3) Dialled 2345, no option to opt-out of bundle, only to buy a bundle.
4) Logged in to MyVodafone, on "Plans" it said: "Pay as you go 1", credit is £0.
5) Topped up £10
6) MyVodafone shows credit still £0.
7) Got a text from Vodafone telling me they've converted my £10 top-up to a bundle, *without* my permission.
😎 Dialled 2345 - now there's an option to opt-out, conveniently only AFTER topping up, and you can only opt-out of renewing the bundle, no option to cancel the bundle and get the top-up back.
9) MyVodafone still shows zero balance.
All I want is for my £10 top-up to go in my balance so I can use it for Pay As You Go 1, is this even possible?
