Enabling new Vodafone SIM on Mobiwire Ayasha with old invalid Vodafone SIM?

I have an old Mobiwire Ayasha android phone with an old and now invalid Vodafone SIM.

How to I get my Mobiwre Ayasha to accept a new Vodafone SIM?

If the phone originally accepted the now defunct Uk Vodafone Sim Card then there should be no reason why it will not accept a new active Uk Vodafone Sim card @jmc2000 

Make sure it's active by topping it up if you haven't already. If possible test the sim card in another phone. 

If it isn't accepting it then the issue may not lie with the sim card but be a possible hardware or software problem.

When you receive the new PAYG SIM @jmc2000 this will come as a multi SIM, just push out the size your need.  See here: Multi SIM 

Although the device support section of the website does not list the Ayasha, the set up procedure should be the same across all MobiWire Devices
