Getting a phone through Vodafone contract

Hello,

Currently I have the "Vodafone Young M ohne Smartphone", which costs me 20 Euros per month.

I am currently looking to buy a smartphone, and I wanted to know if it is better to buy it from a store(MediaMarkt, Saturn, Amazon, etc.), or get it from Vodafone? https://100001.onl/ 

Vodafone is saying: get Iphone 13 Mini, pay 20 euros more, every month. My question is: Do I have to pay this additional 20 euros for a fixed duration of time(i.e. 24 months), or do I have to pay this for the rest of my life(basically many years).
