Try a soft reboot by turning your phone Off and then back On.
Check data roaming is turned on so that you can use your phone abroad. You can do this in the My Vodafone app, or My Vodafone online
There are some help tips in the
Prepare for your trip section in travelling-abroad.
Live Chat or the Vodafone Social Media Team's can check your account to ensure all is ok and you can check via your online myvodafone.
You can ring customer services too if you want to.
Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.
Also try choosing a different network as the one your latched to might be having issues.

I contacted customer service and they told me that it will get 24 hours to get it!

Ok.
All I can then suggest is to periodically turn your phone Off and On or use airplane mode to help refresh the network connection.
Hopefully you being abroad won't cause issues, it shouldn't @Izabela2410

Hi @Izabela2410
I wouldn't be surprised if your issue was being abroad with Vodafone having identified you as being out of the UK for longer than expected. Vodafone have global roaming Terms and Conditions and these may have been overlooked.
The problem is to get your SIM back on line, you may well need to be back in the UK for the SIM to connect to the local UK network, when you are roaming you will be connected to an overseas network. You also need to make a chargeable connection or top up.
Hopefully, the Social Team will be able to advise further on this for you.

The problem was that my SIM card did not have any chargeable services for more than 180 days. I am happy to be connected to the local network while I am abroad.
They were very helpful in the customer service team and they will reconnect me which takes 24 hours and then I will top up.
Hope it will work.
