Porting number From EE FAILURE

Last Sunday (23rd August, 20202) I filled out and submitted the online form to transfer my EE number to replace my temporary Vodafone number. I received a text message shortly after confirming that the number transfer would happen on Tuesday 25th August, 2020.

EE promptly disconnected my service at around 6pm last night (25th August 2020). So i assumed that the number transfer was in progress.  I contacted an adviser on the Vodafone online chat shortly after who confirmed that the number port in was in progress and would be completed by midnight.  This morning (26th August 2020) I checked my phone and restarted it only to find that the number transfer wasn't complete. So I contacted Vodafone via the online chat a short time ago and the adviser stated that the number port in from EE had been cancelled for some reason.  The advisor couldnt tell me who cancelled it either.  The advisor stated that EE have caused the delay and it's their fault. The advisor said she couldnt help, well, they're not saying much, apart from things along the line of "I'll transfer you to the person who can help with that", over, and over, and over again. Over an hour and 10mins later I got through to two managers and was asked I've been asked to contact porting on 08080 945 945 as the couldnt help me either. This number has a message stating to call 191. 191 are entirely useless.

So, questions

Has anyone else experience of a port going wrong and how was it fixed?  Does anyone have a contact number for the porting team at Vodafone?

@j0nezjm012019uk Something sounds off here, the order to move over shouldn't be randomly cancelling! Our team would love to find out why this happened and get you all ported over, please can you message us your details over; following one of the channel of contact methods explained HERE.
