I've just received a text message telling me I had 1 new Voicemail message. I dialled 121, got the message that there was one deleted message and no new messages. I've tried dialling 121 several times since and get the 'no new messages' announcement. Is there anyway of checking if a voicemail I received this morning has been deleted? I keep reading that there is a Voicemail app on my phone but I don't seem to have this. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20. Thanks in advance.

When a voicemail gets deleted @tst500 , there won't be a way to get it back, voicemail messages are not stored on the network. If you had the phone turned on, the number and call may be registered on the phone.
To prevent anyone accessing and deleting your voicemails, it is worth setting up a PIN. If you don't have slam down notifications this is also something to consider, if someone reaches your voicemail and hangs up you will receive a notification, call 121 and follow the prompts to set this up. See here: How do I set up and manage my voicemail?

Many thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I'm wracking my brains to what actually happened when I called 121! I'm very sure I didn't hit option 3 to delete the message though. I was in a noisy environment when I called 121, I won't access voicemails in such a noisy environment again.
I've even tried leaving voicemails for myself and even if I just hang up in the middle of hearing a voicemail, that voicemail is automatically saved to hear again! So I can't work out how this one disappeared. As far as I can tell, unless you press 3, voicemails are always automatically saved. Thanks again.
