When your contract comes to an end you will be put on the equivalent 30 day SIM only contract, plus any discount may have ended.
To save money you will need to renew the agreement or look at 30 day contracts.
Now your agreement has ended take a look at third party SIM only contracts, this will save you money and it's easy to transfer the number to the new third party contract by porting out to any other network and back in on the new third party contract.
