OneNumber unlinked from primary line after number port-in

Hi! My OneNumber subscription has been unlinked from the primary line following the number transfer to Vodafone. Now it shows in my account as a completely separate subscription. Would you be able to assist me in re-linking it to my primary line?

As there is no account access via this forum anymore @sirgader you would need to contact Live Chat  or the Vodafone Social Media Team via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.

I can only see a manage option in OneNumber

any resolution @sirgader? I'm going through the same issue with tech support.

my issue specifically was..

I linked Onenumber on the temporary number (new account) to see if it worked

my number was ported

I could no longer link to Onenumber in the Alexa App.

It took me forever to get this resolved.

In terms of OneNumber in my watch, I had to take another subscription (and now paying £2 a month more than before).

When it comes to Alexa, it turned out that after refreshing/resetting the account the address for emergency services was reset as well. Once they fixed the address for emergency services, I was able to link it in the Alexa app. Let me know how you are getting on with it.

I've now spoken to everyone and I'm assured they've fixed the problem.. not. I've got my PAC and I've got 30 days to decide what to do now.

So after many calls to technical my number I was able to link my account (number) to OneNumber (Alexa) but only on Microsoft Edge and not Chrome or FF (both resulted in site maintenance pages) - weird.

However, when I tested it the call log on the number I called read 'id unknown'.  On another call to a third party, they read my number as another one ending --476 (not my linked number) - weird again.

Any theories?

I am glad you have got it resolved. Or nearly :Winking_smiley:

If you log in to My Vodafone account - what do you see? Do you have any unknown "lines" available? Is there any chance this is your temporary number (before you ported your number in)?

When you log in to the OneNumber menu - how does it look like there?

And finally - if someone calls your number - both your phone and Alexa(s) are ringing?

I take everything back..to date onenumber is still not working after dozens of calls to and from customer service and technical support.

Did this get resolved?? I'm going through the same thing now and VF seem to be beyond useless at the moment. It's wait 48hrs after 48hrs!

I got it resolved eventually but it took forever. The worst was to get Alexa back working.
