Roaming extra charges on returning to uk - Extremely high bill

I have just returned to uk and have received an unexpectedly very high bill over £500

IS there an manager i can speak to directly to discuss as no way I can afford this amount

I was under the impression my calls were included under the 6.85 daily roaming charge

A lot depends on the country @AA89 , not all countries are covered with the daily roaming charge.  Check this link: Roaming Charge Checker 

It's surprising Vodafone allowed such an unusual high spend, there should be a credit limit on the account and this should have kicked in.
