Unable to manage account via website

Have had an account with Vodafone for well over a decade, now that account is managed via OneCom.  That wasn't an issue until last year we found that I could no longer manage the account via the Vodafone website like I used to do.  Have been in contact with both Vodafone and OneCom but they haven't been able to fix the issue.  The last idea from Vodafone was to get the PAC numbers for the phones on that account and move it fully to Vodafone.

We have the PAC numbers but when calling Vodafone I keep getting routed back to OneCom and there's no way of speaking with a human to fix the issue.  And no some chatbot isn't going to cut it, I want to TALK to a HUMAN.

Is there anyway of doing this or would it be easier to take the PAC numbers and move to a different operator?

You can't use the PACs to port from OneCom to Vodafone @sarahmmiddleton  you would effectively be trying to port Vodafone to Vodafone.

Not the best solution, but the only way to transfer the number directly to Vodafone is by porting out to any other network to PAYG and porting back in on the number you wish to keep.  The problem here will be any early termination charges with OneCom.

Thanks AnnS.  So Vodafone's own advice was wrong, not totally surprised. Everything was fine until last year and something has happened between OneCom and Vodafone so that they no longer seem to 'play nice' with each other.  OneCom seem totally focussed on being a business provider so there's not much point staying with them.

While what you say would work but if I'm going to port my number to another provider, I might as well stay with that other provider as there's no real incentive to go back to Vodafone if that gives me what I need.  Out of contract so there are no termination fees and out phones are unlocked.
