I recently changed from PAYG to pay monthly to have WIFI calling (no signal inside my house). I bought my handset in HK and recently relocated to UK. I needed several calls to get lucky and be connected to SHADAB. to have the issue resolved.
Although I researched the topic beforehand and communicated to customer services that I request them to force the phone to have a OTA configuration update, it was not sorted until I got lucky to be connected to SHADAB. In the meantime, I received many conflicting responses including: my IMEI is linked to an IPhone (my handset is a Samsung S20), HK phones can't use this feature etc.
Many thanks for making my day - SHADAB. Well done!!! It took SHADAB less than 5 mins to fix the issue!! In future, I hope that more customer support representatives receive the appropriate training to enable WIFI calling on handsets - especially as the issue seems to be well documented already in the Vodafone Forum and elsewhere.
