I recently took my iPad into Apple as I was unable to get the device to turn on. When Apple inspected the device they advised that it would need to be sent away and that a replacement would be sent to me. At the time, I asked Apple about my eSIM and they advised that it would be backed up on to iCloud.
Fast forward to today, I received my new iPad, imported my iCloud backup and lo and behold, I am unable to transfer the eSIM without the old device.
I can’t seem to find any helpful information about what to do in this situation and was wondering if anyone else has come across this and how they got it resolved?

Hi @Skyecunningham9. We understand how concerning this must be. We would advise heading over to our eSIM Help web page for instructions on how to move forward - you'll need to select the 'Move eSIM to another device' option. If your original device is needed, a swap to a physical SIM will be required. If that's the case, please get in touch with our Social Media team.
When the new physical SIM arrives, you'll need to complete a SIM swap online. When your services have been swapped to the physical SIM, you'll then be able to switch back to eSIM on your new device via your My Vodafone account online.
