number transfer to my 2nd vodafone contract

I have 2 contracts with vodafone.
one is coming to an end at the end of July
the other runs until aug 22
can i transfer the number on the ending July one
to the aug 22 one when my july contract runs out?

Yes @pakomen that can be done, but this is going to need the number you don't want cancelled. To avoid losing the number, I would recommend porting out the contract number ending July to any other network on PAYG, and porting back in on the contract ending August.  Alternatively. you can put the number on PAYG with Vodafone and move the number that way but it will take 30 days to complete.

If you leave it until the end of contract there won't be anything extra to pay.  Please remember the bill after this has been done, with pro rata billing the August/September bill will be a little confusing.

is there a problem porting in to my 2nd contract that is 10 months into the contract or can the number be ported in at any stage during the contract ?
