i have an iphone 4s and have sure signal connected to it but for browsing i want to use the wifi so i dont use up my internet but my phone wont connect to my wifi and instead its just vodafone 3g. Baring in mind the sure signal is attached to the router for which i want wifi from. i know theres no problem with connecting to wifi as when im at university i haveit connected. is it because the sure signal box is linked to the router? if so is there some settings i could change?

Hi Tom,
The SureSignal and your routers WiFi are completely separate. The onlhy time you may experience an issue is if you have the two boxes very close together, the SureSignal can cancel out your WiFi signal, if this happens you need to move the boxes further apart.
There is also the issue of the iPhones WiFi sleep policy. What this basically means is that when the screen goes to sleep the WiFi on the iPhone is also switched off and the phone rolls back to a 3G. Unfortunatly there is no way to change this.

Hi tomvaley, welcome to the eForum!
As Nabs has said, the two units are totally separate so they shouldn't have an impact on each other - I have a Sure Signal and WiFi router and the two have worked quite happily together for a couple of years.
Are the two units close together? Can you try the suggestion from Nabs and move them apart?
Have you tried disconnecting your Sure Signal to see if you can access your WiFi?
