Hello everyone, I am using iPhone 11 with ios 14.8 operating system. I'm trying to play mahjong online on safari, but it seems to have been blocked by some security system. How to turn them off.

Hello @BrennaDrusilla

Is this happening on a Wi-Fi connection and mobile data connection i.e 4G etc ?

This might be something to do with the particular connection your using.

It might be worth checking your content control setting > How-do-i-change-my-age-restricted-content-settings.

As a process of elimination can you try your sim card in another phone  ?

There are some threads on the Apple Community Forum which may help with a couple being https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251316216 and Some games won't connect to the Internet.

You could also check the setting on your iPhone  > Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

An Apple Store in-house representative or online Apple Live Chat Agent would be able to probably help too.

I wish you all the best with this situation.

First, make sure your iPhone's software is up to date. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and check if there's an available update. Installing the latest iOS version might resolve any compatibility issues.

Clear your Safari browser cache and website data. Go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. This can help eliminate any stored data that might be causing the block.

Check if there are any content restrictions enabled on your device. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. Disable any restrictions that could be preventing access to online games or specific websites.

Consider using a different web browser. Downloading a third-party browser from the App Store, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, might bypass the security block you're encountering on Safari.
