I have been waiting for over 12 months for Vodafone to allow the esim on the iphone XS

The only reason the phone was purchased was because of this feature

At the iphone XS launch it said it would be available on EE and Vodafone 

12 months later and a newer model and this still has not been actioned

Apple never said it would be available on Vodafone UK at the XS launch.

There's several other threads for this, vodafone won't say anything in public. If you want an eSIM now, move to EE or O2.

At the keynote launch they did say in the UK  it would be available on EE and Vodafone

and on the apple website they also said the same

I think they did and then soon after Apple amended their online support info regarding the eSim.

As said there has been quite a few esim enquires to which the official stance is Not Yet and rematch the Coming Soon pages.
