Vodafone broadband app

Does anyone else have an issue with the broadband app for iOS? Everytime I want to use it I have to remove and reinstall it.

 

Whenever I try use the app it cycles through “setting up the app”, “getting things ready” etc, then loops into infinity. Only fix is to remove and reinstall it. It’s a pain! 

no issue with any other apps, just this one.

Hi @Rossva1189 - I can understand that this must be frustrating. Are you using a Vox 2.5 router? If so, this no longer supports our Home Broadband app. If you're using a different Vodafone router, then please make sure your phone is using IOS13 or later software. You find how to do this in our Device Guides

Yep, same problem. 
I can’t access the app on iPhone14.  Haven’t been able to for months. 
I am using a vox router charcoal grey THG3000. It’s brand new as a very helpful colleague had it posted along with two boosters. 
Except I can’t set up the boosters without the app. 
On a call yesterday I was told the app isn’t working on iOS. 
Is this correct?

Im out of contract and paying £15 a month more than I should be for WiFi that doesn’t cover our household and a broken app. 
When it did work it was great. 
Any solutions Gemma?

im on iOS 18.2. And no it’s not the router you mention. As I said, the app DOES work the first time I install it, no problem. But then if I close it and try use it again , it just cycles through the “getting things ready”, etc screens constantly. I can then remove the app and reinstall it and it will work. But then the same will happen. 

each time I want to use it , I have to remove and reinstall it

@Rossva1189 Instead or reinstalling, have you tried to clear the app cache?

Hi Gemma, yes I've offloaded and deleted the app clearing the cache.

Reinstalled, same issue.  Asks to use broadband to connect to my VOX router. 'Router not found'

Perhaps you need to send me an android handset?
