iPhone 12 Pro - constant "no internet connection" message, either WiFi or 4G

I'm in the UK with an iPhone 12 Pro Max, running iOS 16.1.1 Our home office has 3 WiFi networks giving 55Mb, and roaming shows a 4G signal when WiFi switched off. No problem accessing internet with other devices. The iPhone permanently shows No Internet Connection on any of the above options. The iPhone can "see" and connect to the WiFi networks and external 4G, but that doesn't help. In Settings it shows VPN connecting but I don't use VPN. I have rebooted the iPhone and router several times. Would appreciate help in solving this problem (I've tried Tobi, but can't get it to understand which device I'm using). I can make and receive phone calls.

Please ignore. I've solved the problem by switching VPN (which I don't use) off.
