iPhone 6 and 6 Plus back-order upgrade credit

What’s the offer?

Starting from 19 September 2014 to 31 October 2014 if you upgrade to an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus and we don’t have stock of the device straight away, we’ll credit your account by £5 (including VAT) for every full week (seven days) you have to wait. This is to help with any difference in cost between your old price plan and your new one as well as a thank you for choosing to stay with Vodafone.

Who can get it?

This credit is available to you if you’re a personal pay monthly customer upgrading to the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus either online, over the phone or in a store.

You’re also eligible for this credit if you’re a small business customer upgrading on a single price plan (it’s not available on share plans but you can get it if you’re on Red+) if you upgrade over the phone, in a store or online.

How much credit will I get?

The £5 (including VAT) is credited for every full seven days you’re in back order. We’ll request this credit to be allocated to your account as soon as you’ve received the device.

Remember this could take up to 8 weeks to show on your invoice.

The maximum credit you can receive is £30.

Here’s a table to show how this breaks down:

Scenario 1	You place your order on 12 September 2014 and are in back order for 7 days from the 19 September 2014 = £5 credit (£5 Waiting Credit does not start until launch day - 19 September)
Scenario 2	You place your order on 10 October 2014 and are in back order for 16 days = £10 Credit (16 days on back order = 2 full weeks =  £10)
Scenario 3	You place your order on 15 October 2014 and are in back order for 22 days = £15 credit. (22 days in back order = 3 full weeks = £15)

When will I get it?

It can take up to 8 weeks from when your phone is delivered to when the credit is added to your bill.

You won’t need to do anything; we’ll add the credit automatically and send you a text to let you know that it’s been done. We’ll also list it on your next bill as ‘WAITCR - Waiting Credit’
