I have a new Pixel 7pro but according to Vodaphone website it won't do 4G calling. Surely this can't be right.
Is there an indicator that shows what 'G' i am logged into?

@AnnS do you know of any way I can get 4g and voLET calling without being forced to sell this phone and buy one from Vodafone?
I only bought it from Google because I didn't want an expensive call plan, I am happy with my sim only.

The phone is definitely capable of WiFi and 4G calling (the two go together) @BASKANOS and it should work straight out of the box regardless of where the phone was purchased.
Take a look at device guides here Device Guides and make sure you have WiFi calling activated on your account. If you check your Application you should be able to see the feature there. Texting calling to 97888 should still work. If there are problems use live chat and ask them to send the settings file to your phone.

@BASKANOS and @AnnS - This is the information I was given when I looked into it earlier, although I do understand what you're saying. I'm raising this to be double checked. If anyone else has faced issues setting up 4G Calling on this phone, once you've checked your settings and if it's set up on your account, please can you let us know if it was from Vodafone direct or a third party?

Understand your situation, you can only give the information provided to you but it doesn't mean it's correct.
At least you are getting this double checked.

@BASKANOS - thanks again for confirming this and I'm sorry for possibly causing some confusion here. It might be that some third party purchased phones, aren't showing on our 4G Calling compatible phone checker. One of us will post back here as soon as there's an update.

I just wanted to update the thread to let everyone know that this has been raised to our Specialist Support team for review so we can get some clarity on the compatibility aspect of phones that aren't purchased from Vodafone directly. As soon as we hear anything back, we will pop a message here. The team will also ensure the website and the compatibility checker is fully up to date, and I have asked that a statement be added to the checker if none Vodafone purchased devices are not compatible for any reason so that we can avoid any confusion in the future.

Morning everyone, thanks for your patience on this. Our Specialist Support team are asking for an example, of the message you're getting when entering in the third party IMEI number. It may help for them to also have the IMEI in question. @BASKANOS - for security reasons, please can you message me through Social Media and include a link to this post?
