What does H+ mean on top left of mobile screen?

An enhanced version of 3G standing for High Speed Downlink Packet Access and was probably the fastest speed available before the introduction of 4G. If you use Google there is additional information available.

Networks will be switching off 3G this year and you will only be able to access 2 or 4G services.  See here:

I now seem to be seeing 4G so this all makes sense.
