When I click on the App to open, it trys for a while and then I get a message saying 'Sorry.. we're having a few technical difficulties at the moment. We're working hard to get things sorted'. Retry, Dismiss. That sounds temporary but this has been the situation for many months. So I have uninstalled the App, reinsalled and tried again. But the problem is exactly the same. The Error code is 2404. My online My Vodafone account works fine, I can log in and do whatever. So this is purely the Android My Vodafone App on my Samsung Android mobile that is not working. It used to, a year ago, but not antmore despite re-installing. Anybody got a solution?

Try going into your Apps on the phone @Mark1001 , scroll down to My Vodafone > storage > clear cache and data. Restart the phone, you should then be able to log on using the same log in info as your online account, make sure you use mobile data and not WiFi, this is needed to locate the account.
