Welcome to Vodafone Community
Hi All,
I understand that the OnePlus 6 handset is not supported internally by Vodafone for Wifi Calling "VoWiFi" or enhanced call quaility "VoLTE" but the device itself has all the necessary technology to do this.
My question is how do we raise the issue of general support of this and similar devices on the network?
On my next renewal I personally will be choosing a network that provides full functionality to customers regardless of whether they select a Samsung, Apple, Google, Sony or any other technolgically capible handset.

The Vodafone Teams here read all posts and push feedback up the chain from customers @VikingIV
Hopefully more eligible handsets will be added in time.
Current Phone > Samsung Note 9 _512Gb > Model: SM-N960 Hybrid-Duos.
Samsung Gear s3 Frontier Watch.
@VikingIV Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I can assure you I've fed back your comments to the concerned departments internally as rapport to support more devices in the future. You can see a list of our supported devices here which will be updated regularly: Wi-Fi Calling
The other networks all have pointless restrictions on which phones work too though.
That said, there's only one UK network that works with the OnePlus 6 for VoLTE and VoWiFi. and even SMS.
I suspect Vodafone don't want to lose sales by allowing it, and they miss out from adding their own bloatware to phones.
Apple did the right thing by telling networks they sell it unbranded or not at all.
It's really annoying. Almost every phone I out my EE SIM in I get VoLTE and WiFi Calling even knew not supplied by them such as Key2, OnePlus 6, HTC U12+
Put s Vodafone SIM in....nope nothing
When Vodafone UK going support WiFi calling + VoLTE on OnePlus?
Vodafone UK don't want to update systems all phone use VoLTE and WiFi calling why O2 and EE Support VoLTE and VoWifi?
We're always looking to add to the number of phones compatible with our WiFi calling service @Pravinkhatri. When we add the OnePlus 6 it'll appear in the list here.
Seems you can enable it on the phone by doing this (I've tried the unrooted version ) but I still can't get it to work.
Why doesn't the tech team post which phones or manufacturers they're considering including? No sign of any (say) LG or Motorola phones on that list; are those at 96% of the way or 0%?
Must agree with the other posters - I live somewhere with poor signal from all the providers, but I've got a good wifi/fibre connection. So WiFi calling is really important to me.
Thanks for letting me know EE support VolTE and wifi calling on one plus. Will be switching to EE as soon as my contract runs out
I also will be leaving Vodafone at the end of my current contract.
Hi, I'm not sure if this helps but I've got volte, vowifi working with my vodafone oneplus 6t at the moment.
I used the following guide.
I only did step one then enabled the options & rebooted.
On the oneplus 6 it should show a white vowifi box next to your sim signal when working.
Hope this helps.
I got my workin by callin*#800# press enter go on one plus logkit go to function swich then tick volte swick and the same with vowifi swich
So, you did not need to install any software as per the link above?
I tried doing what you suggested and although I can then select the Wifi Calling options under SIM settings - this does not make any difference - Wifi calling does not actually work.
You do not need to install any software.
Does it say it's enabled in my Vodafone?
Hi - yes in MyVodafone, Wifi Calling is enabled.
I also ticked the VoLTE and Wifi calling under SIM Settings.
But in Airplane mode with Wifi On I cannot make a call and also I dont see the HD logo when making a 4G call.
Thanks.
The steps i followed before got my 4G calling and WIFI calling working. For me
