I have been very distracted over the last few weeks and hadn't concentrated on what I exactly needed to do and when for, before switching mobile phone companies but still keeping my number.
I thought I had a few more days to request a PAC code before my contract finished, Unfortunately, I was about 17 hrs too late. My old number was disconnected before I got round to requesting a PAC code. PANTS!
I contacted the old mobile phone provided who said they couldn't retrieve it for me.
Surely, there is way in 2023 where a mobile number attached to a contract that has been disconnected less then 24hrs is still retrievable.
A PAC can only be given if the number is active. You will need to speak to your old provider, more specifically the Sales team to set up a new temporary connection to see if they are able to regain your number, however it is not guaranteed that your number can be re-activated.
