Unlock my Huawei p9

This is an ongoing saga and I'm feed up. I have 2 phones on vodaVoda and one is Finnish it's contract in trying to get it unlocked so I can give it to my son Huawei p9 but it's been weeks of nonsense! Supplying incorrect nuc code etc. 

Why is it so hard if this is not sorted soon I will vote with my feet

Can I ask are you using a working activated alternative network sim card?

If so then customer services on 191 can escalate this go the Nuc Unlocking Department.

Yes I'm using a Tesco mobile pay monthly Sim.

I've spoken to someone from Vodafone who was supposed to phone me back on Monday, I'm still waiting for that call 😤

Tesco_Mobile is a MVNO operator that works off the o2 Network. 

I've known issues where using a MVNO sim card can present problems. 

Can you try one of the main network sim cards?

Hi i have received an nuc code for my Huawei p9 to unlock from Vodafone but the code is not working?

Hi @David3175

 

Are you inserting an active alternative network sim card which should invoke a pop up box and careully keying in the code.

Some phone's also require a mastercode keying in before the NUC Code. 

See if you can chat with the manufacturer and or Google Search to see if the info is already online. 

If this isnt the case with a mastercode and your inserting an active alternative network sim card and the pop up box is showing then dont key in the code too many times or youll hard lock it. 

Contact Customer Services on 191 or Live Chat and advise them of the issue and they'll contact the Nuc Unlocking Department or they can provide you with their email address.

It's a farce. This is a second phone I'm hoping to give tiny son but still locked Ifthis nonsense continues I will bee voteing with my feet.
