cant disable RCS

Hello, I have moved from an Android phone which switched RCS on without my knowledge to an iPhone

I disabled "Chat" before resetting the phone and i now cant receive any messages from android users who have RCS enabled.

I have tried to disable on googles webform but get the message saying I need to contact my carrier.

Technical support so far have hung up on me, said it must be working because you have no bars on the account and told me that there is no way to text between iPhone and Android. 

Anyway to get through to any tech team that understands what RCS is and how to disable?

Hey @Cjp2k - I understand how important it is to stay connected. Have you tried restoring your phone back to the original settings? If you need help with this, take a look at our online support page. 

It is a phone specific service, which means it's not related to your account settings. Please restore your phone as mentioned above, and let us know how you get on 🙂
