Can someone please advise I'm pulling my hair out.

We have two sure signal box's a recent new model which works great and an older model (serial number 21222166726).

We have them on the same network and have never needed to setup NAT or firewall rules etc.. they have worked ok, the old unit is lit up (all 3 out of 4 lights (power / @ and tick), the phone isnt.

Its driving me up the wall, I've reset it 3 or 4 times (hold reset button for 20 - 30 seconds then pull power cord) sit and wait for up to an hour.

No joy.

I really would be greatful of some assistance, its just been reset 18:15GMT UK tonight

Cheers

Hi msupplies,

I can see your Sure Signal made contact with our network just after your reset at 06:19pm yesterday.

Is everything up and running now?

If not please take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread. If this doesn’t resolve your query, please post your reply either below, or in the relevant thread, together with the details requested, including the following information.

Your speed test results from here.

Your ping test results from here.

Your external IP address from here.

The results of a traceroute.

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Paste the output of this command into your reply.

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

Thanks,

Gemma

Hi msupplies

As we advise 24 hours from the firmware upgrade, how is it behaving now?

The steps at 10 and 11 look like they could be a cause for concern but as you said, there's some heavy activity at the time.

DaveCD

All working and full signal 🙂

Many thanks to all concerned in resolving !
