Hi BML,
Sorry to hear of your bill being higher than you expected. Are you a new customer? I ask because your first bill is normally higher due to pro rata line rental. For example, if you connected on, say the 10th of May, then you'd have line rental charges on your first bill from 10th May to June 30th and this would obviously be a contributary factore.
As for how we charge, well this is charged in data amounts rather than time online. Here's a list of the charges whilst using our Mobile Broadband proposition.
As far as I know, there is no total overall for how much data you have used. You can copy all the data onto and excel spreadsheet and then auto sum the data. Another option would be to sign up for MyAccount, where the summary is listed at the bottom.
Surerely its easy for Vodafone with all their capabilities to offer a total but my prime question is, "have these charges increased since I first strarted to use the 3G service?"
