According to the 3G map RG6 1WG has 3G coverage.

I never see it, and end up dropping back to GPRS, both indoors and out.

Hi,If you have'nt done so already when you are looking at the coverage map, zoom out a little,it gives you a better view of exactly how much 3g coverage there is around you.

Hi there blowdart,

Bad news I'm afraid, site number 37404 just next to the railway track has been halted due to a line of sight problem with a crane in the vicinity. This has been raised under case number 1853445 and the latest update is from today and reads that the crane is indeed blocking signal to this site and another with site reference 22112, which is also affected by the same issue.

There is another micro site in the area, ref 73145 but this is handling all local traffic and will be a lot busier than usual. This will reduce the strength quite severely and will account for your loss of connection speeds.

You can track this by calling customer care, or by posting back to us on the forum.

The coverage viewer states that you should normally attract a perfect 3g signal, which is better news!!

Cheers,

Ah that will be the new building. Which would explain things, as that's been going on for over 9 months. If you mean it's just appeared, well, I've never had 3G, and I'm on site there a lot over the last 6 months.
