4g on iphone 5c

I have an iPhone 5c which is about 12 months old I have recently changed to a sim only 4g contract how do I connect to 4g network. I am in Vodafone 4g area.

First make sure you have a 4G SIM card and if so go into Settings ,Mobile, toggle Enable 4G to on.

Thanks. I should have said I have tried the 4g enabled. Is there anything that identifies a 4g SIM card that I can check.

As your using a nano sim if should be 4g version. It's normally the people that have cut a standard SIM card down to a nano sim that can have issues.

Do you not get 4G everywhere or just in one area. Check the masts via the online checker. https://www.vodafone.co.uk/our-network-and-coverage/uk-coverage-map/

If all ok Plz try ure Sim in another phone as a process of elimination 2 rule out the phone or sim that may be at fault and phone customers services to have your account checked.
