no hotspot on pay as you go why not as on the andriod you can use your data package on the wifi hotspot so why not on blackberry if you also have a data pack and as i bought this phone from vodafone derby store and they did say it would work when i upgraded to 7.1 i am lets say not happy maybe vodafone can update the service book please ?
been with vodafone for 8 years might have to change providers soon no hotspot is a deal braker for me

Thanks for your reply. It's strange that you've been able to tether your PAYG usage with any device as the APN required to tether isn't built into PAYG price plans and we have no information as to if or when this will be added at present.

yes i did use this on andriod on a htc wildfire s on vodafone uk i still have the htc and yes it still works via usb and as a wifi hot spot on pay as you go and this sim i am using is the same one

also just to let you know i can teather the 9360 via usb to the pc but not by wifi so to stop the wifi hotspot is a bit silly to be honest with you

Interesting. I've just tried it with a pay & go Vodafone mobile broadband SIM and I cannot create a hotspot. I have no problems, however, doing this with pay & go O2 and 3 Sims that I tried.
