Hi Alan,

It does sound more and more like the power supply is degrading.

Please have a read at the first post on this link and see what you think ........

Hi Alan,

That's good to hear. :smileyhappy:

The correct power supply can be obtained from Amazon or Ebay and cost around £10 -12 inc. delivery.

Just search for 'sure signal power supply'

Thank you for your appreciation,

Mike.

To be honest Mike the router power supply works just fine. I may well upgrade at some stage to the new sure signal but if this gets a new lease of life it works just fine. Just great to be able to have decent people like yourself willing to help and point in the right direction.

Merry Xmas

Al

Hi Al,

The only reason that I mentioned about a new supply is that a router supply rarely has a capacity of more than 1 Amp (1000 Ma) which would be overloaded by a Sure Signal which draws around 1.2 Amps continuously. If it is at least 1.5 Amp, then that's fine.

Sure Signal power supplies are rated at 1.5 or 2 amps.

As a point of safety I had to just mention that to you.

Merry Xmas to you as well.

Mike.
