AMAZON VOUCHER WITH NEW CONTRACT

I recently took out a contract with Vodafone for the new Samsung s6 via the uswitch website. I did it through them as they offered a £130 Amazon voucher with it, when I clicked on the link it took me through to Vodafone where I had to enter a code so I could get the voucher. I took the contract out at the beginning of April and still haven't received any voucher? I've been in contact with Vodafone and uswitch, both of them not taking responsibility for the missing voucher! Uswitch told me to get hold of a company called affliate vouchers to see if they could do anything to help, I've emailed them three times and try to call them but no one picks up the phone or answers any of my emails! Getting pretty annoyed about it now as the only reason I went with Vodafone and not anyone else is because I could get a voucher, so If anyone has any suggestions as to what else I can do they will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks 😊

@dmhodges

Looking at the uswitch website, the deals are linked to a third affiliate window.

When you entered the voucher code, the Amazon voucher would have been promised by uswitch and you are going to have to pursue the promised Amazon voucher through them.

As a former affiliate marketeer I can confirm that the comments are @AnnS are 100% right.

Offers such as this are nothing at all to do with Vodafone. They are part and parcel of the whole affiliate marketing system in which third party companies use part of the commission they receive from Vodafone to either reduced the price of the contract, give some cashback or provide vouchers.

The technology used in affiliate marketing is not foolproof and often the tracking goes wrong. You'll need to pursue this with uswitch as Vodafone is not involved in that aspect of the transaction whatsoever.
