I posted on here a few weeks ago stating I was lied to regarding a sim only upgrade. Vodafone checked the recording and it was proved I was lied to. I was given the difference in price as a credit to which I thought brilliant. Then I check my bill today and even though I upgraded at end of my contract ( told them in advance I wanted to give notice to end my phone contract as my intention is to upgrade to a sim only plan ) I was charged for both plans therefore the credit I was given has gone now. Surely if you upgrade you don't end up paying for your old plan for another 6-8 weeks.

Due to the issues with the previous number if you were given a number number for the new SIM only contract, you need to cancel the previous contract. However, when you upgrade and keep the same number, your following bill will show a credit for line rental paid in advance prior to upgrading.
The best thing is to wait for one of the Team to get to the thread, they will be able to access your account and get this sorted for you.
