1. Please remove the sim from the modem and insert it into a mobile phone, try to browse the internet or Vodafone Live, allowing it to function briefly on a 3G signal
2. If you are unable t attain a 3G signal via the sim in a mobile phone please let us know
3. In your VMC settings go to Settings, preferred networks, and choose 3G only, please advise whether you gain any connection at all.

Hi Thetan5,
I've checked your coverage, and cannot find fault with the level of 3G coverage you're getting.
Can I ask if signal improves outside of your flat? If your signal jumps to 3G when you leave the building, there is every possibility that something is interfereing with the high-frequency 3G signal from within the building. This could be as a result of anything - from new piping being fitted to new electromagnetic equipment being used in nearby.
If you can let me know if there has been any changes and/or you can pick up signal outside of the flat, I'll keep my eye on this one if any further reports come in. The more we know the quicker we can raise a case.

I am also in EN4.
The normal signal has been virtually unusable for a week now. Sometimes can't even text. Frequently can't make a decent call. We have 2 phones, both work fine in other areas and usually do here.
Is there a problem in this area?
Exact postcode is EN4 8PB.

Would appear to be ok now but would like to know if there were any problems over the last week as the coverage was terrible and if it continued I would have to look at another network.
