Archos 5g With Vodafone 3g Card

Hi,

I have just taken out a contract for a 2nd mobile data sim to use with my archos 5g pmp - which can accept a 3g sim card. Sending sms works ok but to use 3g I need to enter the vodaphone network settings for the archos to access the web: server, authentication type,user name, password, proxy and port. Can you please provide me with the correct information?

Thanks - any idea of the proxy and port? I presume the authentication should be set to PAP?

I have found the proxy id and set to pap and it now connects to 3g. However I cannot access the web via 3g - only through wireless. Is there anyway to trace my 3g access and find out where it is going wrong?

I've just been attempting to setup to use K3520 usb modem on NetBSD but cribbed from logs on XP and Ubuntu
where I could see CHAP authentication was being used. That's also worked on NetBSD..

I've not seen any proxy setting being used on XP or Ubuntu.
