Currently on BT Broadband and the SureSignal doesnt work.
I have a BT White modem connected to a BT Hub 3 or 5.
This fix worked for me
By keeping the BT White Modem and installing a TP-LINK TD-W8970 which I purchased from Amazon £41.00
I turned the TP-Links and configured it for Wireless Router Mode, I then entered my BT broadband and username. I connected the BT White modem to the T-Link.
Broadband and wireless works OK
I went into DHCP and found the suresignal, I made the IP it had assigned to always assign that IP to the SureSignal (192.168.1.100)
I then on the TPLink went into forwarding and forwarded the following ports:-
50 to 192.168.1.100
4500 to 192.168.1.100
500 to 192.168.1.100
123 to 192.168.1.100
I plugged in the Vodavone Sure Signal and I got the white flashing light for several hours then it connected OK, before I would get flashing ambers within minutes.
All now working on my business network .
If you dont have a BT white modem make sure you purchase a modem with VDSL as the one I purchased doesnt hence why I carried on using the white BT modem that was previously connected to my BT hub3 or a 5.
