Blackberry Bold 9700 - Bb Desktop Manager Software

Hi All,

New to the forum and also a new user of the BB 9700.

My problem is that Mobile Broadband via the Phone software (which I've loaded onto my laptop) doesn't recognise that the 9700 is connected even though the BB Desktop Manager software picks it up straight away - any thoughts?

Hi Neil44,

At present the Bold 9700 isn't officially supported by Mobile Broadband via the phone (there's a compatibility list here) so we're unable to guarantee the service will work.

I'm sure it will become compatible in the future though!

Thanks Tom,

If that's the case, I wonder why Vodafone included a leaflet proudly telling me that I can connect my PC to the Internet using my BB smart phone and then goiing on to explain how I go about it?
