Ok so let me get this straight before I send these Privs back. If I keep them and go out and buy a £10 SIM from 02 for example - as has been suggested on another forum - put it in do the update and then put my Vodafone SIM back in, it will be on the current software?

I've seen one members post who did that with an alternative Networks SIM card. And reported they then got the update.

Obviously the phones will need to be network unlocked to accept another networks SIM card.

So this morning on my CPW bought Vodafone sim Priv I've got notice of a system update! The day after a business customer threatened to return two phones, rather a coincidence isn't it? So who initiated that update?

That'll be me then.! Does this mean the Privs I have from Vodafone will now update..!?? Should I just stick the SIM in before I send back and try?
