Blank text messages

Hello, I am having a problem with my phone where when I send a text message it appears on my screen in the relevant conversation but my contacts are either not receiving a message at all or a blank message. It started a couple of weeks ago with one contact and now I'm up to 5 contacts that I know of that this is happening with although the odd text they receive successfully!

There have been all sorts of issues with the Lollipop update.  Some people have had major issues, others haven't.  Messaging does seem to be affected.  If you are on a Vodafone branded handset, it may be worth updating to the latest version of the firmware and seeing if that solves the issue. 

It would also be a good idea to perform a hard reset of the device once you have updated the firmware.  This helps to remove any old bits of coding that could cause issues.

It may be worth also just checking that you have not accidentally added some these contacts to your blocking facility and that the recipients have not accidentally added you.
