Both lights flashing on my sure signal

Hi all

Just registered the SS and all appeared great though for the last hour both lights have been flashing. I have re-booted though no joy. Can anyone help? Is it trying to locate my phone?

I've left the box on now since rebooting it Saturday afternoon (around 1pm) and its still flashing.

That's 56 hours!

Apart from trying it on a neighbours network, I've done everything else.

Can you let me know if your servers are showing that It's connected at any point since Saturday?

I've checked and the serial number 40110909112 hasn't connected since late 2011, but it is still an active Sure Signal.

 

Can you try de-registering again for me, only this time wait approximately an hour before re-registering?

 

I can also see that there are few checks Andy suggested which you haven't yet posted the details for. These can help us see if there's anything about the connection stopping the box working properly.

I've tried re setting the box a number if times since my last post and have left it on for days at a time, but it still continues to flash.

Thanks for the update.

 

This could be linked to this issue that we’re currently investigating with BT directly, however can you give this a go on your neighbours connection to see if this works or not?

I've checked the link you provided re the issue with BT, but I'm not on infinity.

We're the stats I provided ok?

As for using my neighbours connection, he is away from home until Saturday, so I will ask him then.

I think we'll get a better idea if you test it at a different location.

I've spoken to my neighbour and strangely enough, he has had previous experience of a sure signal at his property.

He experienced problems as well (not sure if It was the same problem I'm having) and gave up on it.

He was sent a new box (just in case the original one was faulty) but didn't bother to try it.

He has given me the new box to try at my property and I have just registered it etc.

I will see what happens over the next few days.

He has offered to try it on his line if it doesn't work on mine.

My neighbours box has configured itself in under an hour and is working fine 🙂

I have a 3G signal now with 3 bars of signal.
When I set it up, the 2 lights flashed together for a couple of minutes and then just the left one continued to flash on its own.
